LINE VAUTRIN, Vintage bracelet in gilded bronze, signed LV For Sale at 1stDibs

A cast bronze necklace titled Le Bélier (the Ram) by French Parisin art jeweler Line Vautrin (1913-1997). The ram necklace and its variations were conceived circa 1950-1955. The lovely necklace on offer features a ram pendent on chunky cast chains, half gilt and half silvered. One of the chain links was impressed LINE/VAUTRIN and the other monogrammed LV as shown. It comes with a French COA from Comite Line Vautrin by the artist's daughter.

A gilt bronze bracelet by Line Vautrin (1913-1997), circa 1945-46. The design is known as La Manif or La Manifestation, which features a chain of arm-linked figurines. Monogrammed on the back. It is a bespoken piece by one of the most creative Parisian art jeweler who infused history, iconography and a sense of humor in her work. The inner circumvention is 18cm about 7.2 inches.
