In 2014, Nike teamed up with Italian fashion designer Ricardo Tisci to produce a limited line of Air Force 1's. This promo pair features the striking color palette and design hatched from that collaboration. Originally released in 1982, the Air Force 1 is named after the presidential aircraft. Designed by Bruce Kilgore, it was the first basketball shoe to feature revolutionary air pocket technology. Today it is one of Nike’s most iconic, bestselling sneakers.

The famed, influential graffiti artist Josh Stash Franklin collaborated with Nike to create what is considered to be among the most significant AF1 designs of the sneakerhead era. The signature reflective spray can nozzle pattern wraps the toe and heel. Mesh side panel, suede Swoosh, special branding on the heel tab and dubrés, and translucent outsole. The Stash x Nike Air Force 1 High was limited to just 1,000 pairs and distributed in three cities: New York City, London and Tokyo.

For the 25th Anniversary of the Air Force 1 in 2007, Nike released a new rendition of the classic silhouette with more premium elements. The smooth white leather on the upper shows no exposed stitching, and the tongue, tongue tag and deubre are all in leather. The tongue tag is embossed with Nike Air Force 1 XXV and the deubre features a laser engraved AF1 '82. The heel tab also has a laser-engraved Nike Air replacing the stitching. The pair also features perforated leather sock lining.

This Air Force 1 Hyperstrike was dropped in 2019 to friends and family of the much-loved New York Lower East Side establishment Scarr’s Pizza. Founder Scarr Pimental and team member Audie Villot had the idea to create an Air Force 1 that reflected the quality of the OG versions they grew up with and to commemorate their home city.
