Elegant 3 strand glass pearl necklace by Louis Rousselet. Baroque and beautifully scaled cream graduated pearls which are handmade in the French tradition. Gilt filigree decorated clasp. Length 16 shortest strand, then 17, then 19. Excellent condition. 1950's France. Width 1.50. Louis Rousselet (1892-1980) was born in Paris and apprenticed at the tender age of eight to M. Rousseau to master the technique of lamp-work beads.
